Q1: Tell our readers a little bit about your past.

  • I was raped at the age of 14.
  • I tried to kill myself at age 15.
  • I quit high school four times. I had an abortion at age 16.
  • I got pregnant at age 17.
  • I became a single mom at age 18.
I went back to high school, at a special school for adults, so I could give my son a better life. I also got involved with prostitution. I graduated when I was 22.

I then went to university for 5 years. I earned two degrees – A Bachelor of Arts and A Bachelor of Education, when I was 27.

I moved away and taught high school for three-and-a-half years. I quit when I was 31, and moved back to my hometown in 2003.

I returned to prostitution. It paid more money than teaching did! I also started doing drugs again. My son found out and disowned me for three years. I hit rock bottom during that time, and ended up smoking crack cocaine for ten months.

Then I nearly died of a burst appendix and realized that I didn’t want to die. I wanted to live!
I quit everything, reconnected with my son, bought a laptop in 2013, and started blogging.

That was when my life truly changed for the better!

I opened my business in 2014. That was the year my first book was published. My second book was published in 2017.

It’s called From Nope to Hope: How I Overcame My Suicidal Thoughts (and How You Can Too).

Q2: To inspire females, can you please talk about your rape and how you survived?

I survived in all the wrong ways BECAUSE I DIDN’T TELL ANYBODY. I never got help. I turned to drugs and drinking to cope. I became promiscuous. I even tried killing myself.

When I was 20, I finally told someone. I also got counseling. I used The Courage to Heal Books (textbook and workbook) with my counselor to come to terms with what happened to me.

I stopped blaming myself. I stopped feeling like it was my fault… because it WASN’T.

I found closure when I called the police, charged my rapist, and took him to court.

Q3: What you recommend to single moms for to live happily?

Love your children. Give them 3 hugs and 3 kisses every day. They need it!

Love yourself. Be your own best friend.

Talk to others. Ask for help when you need it. Don’t try to be Supermom. Being a mom is hard, and being a single mom is even harder.

Make time for you. You are important. Take time to pamper yourself each week or each month. Go out. Get away from your children. Take a break and enjoy life. Refresh yourself. There is more to life than doing chores all the time! (Cooking, cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, paying bills, etc.) Take in a movie. Treat yourself to a nice dinner at your favorite restaurant. Get a mani-pedi. Buy a new dress. Get dressed up. Go dancing. Take a vacation. Enjoy life!

Q4: You had suicidal thoughts. How did you overcome them?

In addition to getting counseling, I used a variety of strategies and techniques, which I teach in my book, From Nope to Hope.

Two chapters from this book are available FOR FREE: chapter 1 and chapter 2.

Q5: How you are earning online?

The ways I earn money include:

⦁    Selling my services. (I sell several of my services on Wording Well, including
⦁    writing and editing services.)
⦁    Selling someone else’s product and earning affiliate income by promoting it to your audience. (For example, I promote Elna Cain’s freelancing course
⦁    WRITE YOUR WAY TO YOUR FIRST 1K because it’s so awesome!)
⦁    Selling my books. Risky Issues is
⦁    A book of short stories. From NOPE to HOPE: How I Overcome Suicidal Thoughts (and How You Can too) is my second one, and is available from Amazon (search for it) and CreateSpace (in print)… but the best deal is getting it directly from my website,
⦁    I earn through AdSense.
⦁    I earn through sponsored posts and link placements.
⦁    I do website work for others. (This service is only offered to a few people, and by request only.)
⦁    I earn through social sharing. I found a new way to earn online through Izea. You can get started with this easily!
⦁    I earn by coaching others.
⦁    I also help others become authors. (So far, I’ve helped a blind man publish two books, and a lawyer publish one.)

Q6: Describe your failure points in which you failed to work online.

I don’t think I have failed to work online.

The only thing I have failed to do was to try to do everything myself!

I then learned to hire other people to help me with things I didn’t want to do or couldn’t do myself.

Q7: How you manage your home and online working together?

When I get really tired, I take a break.

I also make sure to do something I like doing EVERY DAY. This might be reading a book, watching TV, or spending time with family. Or a combination of all 3. ;)

8: What do you think about Pakistanis? (As we are Pakistanis, we want to know this!)

I have many friends in both India and Pakistan. (Just look at my Facebook friends list!)

It has been my personal experience that both Indians and Pakistanis are friendly, helpful people. The only issue I notice is that sometimes they are at war with one another – they are very competitive, but they shouldn’t be!

We should ALL be friends, regardless of who we are, where we come from, and what color our skin is!

9: Is there any country you think that females are not showing their talents as they should?

I don’t know enough about females in other countries to effectively comment on this. Sorry!

10: Do think freelancing or blogging is good for moms who stay home?

Yes.

Q11: What would you recommend to readers at AllBlogThings.com?

Pursue your dreams, no matter how big or small they are!

You CAN do anything you set your mind to!

I know, because I am living proof! Just take a look at the journey I have been on!
