Career
If you listen to any of Bert’s stories, you may know he worked for Discovery Channel and the Travel Channel for quite some time. This isn’t what has really defined his career though. Kreischer’s career has flourished on the standup comedy stage. His very first standup performance was at Potbelly in Tallahassee. Eventually, he was contacted by an agent in New York City who was sent one of his sets. Then Kreischer moved to NYC and started out by working the door at the Boston Comedy Club.
Within five months of moving to the city, he was offered a sitcom. Later, he was the host of Bert the Conqueror where he traveled around to different locations throughout the U.S. He now has three standup comedy specials, two on Netflix and one on Comedy Central.
