Rencore Extends Series A to 15 Million Dollars to Advance AI and Agent Governance

Rencore expanded its Series A round to a total of 15 million dollars, led by Hi Inov with continued backing from UVC Partners and Capnamic Ventures.

The company plans to speed up its expansion across Europe and North America and sharpen its focus on governance for Microsoft 365, Copilot, and enterprise AI agents.

Rencore’s platform gives IT and compliance teams visibility across Microsoft 365, the Power Platform, and AI services.

It helps organizations apply policies, cut risk, and automate remediation across collaboration tools and AI data sources.

Enterprises are increasingly prioritizing such controls as AI usage grows inside regulated environments.

This shift is also shaped by policy developments such as the European Union’s AI Act, which began rolling out enforcement steps earlier this year.

The company has added new features that govern how AI systems interact with corporate data and how agents operate inside Microsoft environments.

Large customers including Amgen, Honeywell, Lufthansa Group, and Siemens Healthineers use Rencore to monitor Copilot integrations, identify exposure risks, and ensure internal and regulatory rules are followed.

Investors see rising urgency in this segment. “AI adoption across the enterprise is creating a new layer of complexity in governance, security, and compliance,” said Julius Jürging, Partner at Hi Inov. “Rencore is uniquely positioned to solve these challenges by extending its proven Microsoft 365 governance foundation into AI and Agent Governance.”

The fresh capital will help Rencore strengthen its AI and Agent Governance features, expand its product and engineering teams, and grow its commercial presence.

The company will also deepen work with system integrators and service providers as more organizations adopt AI tools at scale and seek guardrails for secure deployment.
