Avengers: Doomsday Teaser Trailer Rumored for December Drop

Marvel Studios plans an online debut for the Avengers: Doomsday teaser on December 7 at 7 p.m. ET. A lengthier cut will attach to screenings of Avatar: Fire and Ash beginning December 19.
The film arrives in theaters December 18, 2026, under directors Anthony and Joe Russo. Robert Downey Jr. stars as Doctor Doom alongside Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Mackie, Paul Rudd and Pedro Pascal.
This schedule places the teaser roughly 365 days before release.
Past Avengers trailers followed a tighter timeline.
- The Age of Ultron debut landed 165 days out.
- Infinity War's came 130 days prior.
- Endgame's first look dropped 124 days before its premiere.
Endgame's December 7, 2018 trailer set the benchmark with 289 million views in 24 hours. The Doomsday rollout adopts a parallel December window.
Alex Perez of The Cosmic Circus first signaled a December launch in late November. He wrote, "Doomsday’s trailer is dropping sometime next month."
Perez followed with a post featuring a clip from The Fantastic Four: First Steps promotional campaign. The segment shows Reed Richards stressing Sunday dinners at 7 p.m. sharp.
His caption read:
"What are the chances Avengers: Doomsday's teaser drops on December 7th."
The Fantastic Four account has aired that clip every Sunday at 7 p.m. ET for months.
Reports point to a pivot where familiar footage yields to Doomsday material, depicting heroes in peril opposite Downey's Doom.
Collider reported the Avatar: Fire and Ash attachment. Studios prepared upward of 30 trailer variants. The initial edit runs 50 to 60 seconds and spotlights tone, cast and Doom's suit.
