Realme Neo 8 to Launch on Jan 22 in China with 8,000mAh Battery and Flagship Snapdragon Power

Realme confirmed the launch of its Neo 8 smartphone in China on January 22 at 7 p.m. local time. The device packs an 8,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging.
Realme revealed the handset will use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset.
The Realme Neo 8 features a 6.78-inch Samsung M14 AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate.

The screen reaches up to 6,500 nits peak local brightness and 1,000 nits peak manual brightness.
Realme stated that the display "brings advanced OLED material with improved brightness and efficiency" and has a lifespan "50% longer than the 'common' models in the industry."
The smartphone includes a 16-megapixel front camera and a rear triple-camera system consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto unit offering 3.5x optical zoom.
It offers up to 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.
The device carries IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
It incorporates an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, crystal armor glass for enhanced durability, an X-axis linear motor, and super-linear stereo speakers.
The Realme Neo 8 runs Realme UI 7 based on Android 16.
The handset measures 162mm by 77.07mm by 8.3mm and weighs 215 grams.
It will be available in Cyber Purple, Mecha Grey, and Origin White color options.
