RedMagic 11 Air Debuts as Slim Gaming Powerhouse with Snapdragon 8 Elite and Transparent Style

Nubia's RedMagic brand launched the RedMagic 11 Air gaming smartphone in China on January 20, 2026, equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, a transparent rear panel revealing internal components, and an active cooling fan.

The device measures 7.85 millimeters thick, houses a 7,000 mAh battery with 120-watt fast charging support, and includes a 6.85-inch AMOLED display at 2,688 by 1,216 pixel resolution with a 144-hertz refresh rate.

Display screen achieves a 95.1 percent screen-to-body ratio through an under-display 16-megapixel front camera and 1.25-millimeter bezels.

The RedMagic 11 Air pairs the Snapdragon 8 Elite with up to 16 gigabytes of LPDDR5X RAM and 512 gigabytes of UFS 4.1 storage, plus the brand's Redcore R4 gaming chip for enhanced performance.

Its cooling system incorporates a 4D vapor chamber, graphene copper foil, an aerospace-grade aluminum bracket, and a built-in fan that reaches 24,000 revolutions per minute.

The rear camera array consists of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with a 1/1.55-inch size and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, both in protruding individual modules.

Available in Quantum Black, Stardust White, and Aurora Silver color options, the phone features a curved transparent back with an RGB-lit logo.

RedMagic positioned the device as "the slimmest REDMAGIC ever — REDMAGIC 11 Air."

Pricing begins at 3,699 Chinese yuan for the 12-gigabyte RAM and 256-gigabyte storage variant, rising to 4,399 yuan for the 16-gigabyte RAM and 512-gigabyte storage model.

Quantum Black and Stardust White versions went on sale immediately, while Aurora Silver arrives in March.

The phone runs RedMagic OS 11.0, which includes AI tools for image search, real-time translation, and object recognition.
