McDonald’s USA Launches Under-$3 Menu Items and $4 Breakfast Deal as Part of Expanded McValue Offerings
McDonald’s announced April 2 that it will expand its McValue Menu with a new lineup of items priced under $3 each and a dedicated $4 breakfast meal deal.

The changes take effect April 21 at participating restaurants across the United States.
The Under $3 Menu will feature at least 10 items available all day. Breakfast options include the Sausage McMuffin for $1.50, Sausage Biscuit, Sausage Burrito, hash browns and a medium McCafé Premium Roast Coffee.
For lunch and dinner the selection covers the McChicken, McDouble for $2.50, four-piece Chicken McNuggets, small fries and medium soft drinks.
The company is also introducing a $4 Breakfast Meal Deal that lets customers pick either a Sausage McMuffin or Sausage Biscuit, served with hash browns and a small McCafé Premium Roast Coffee.

Lunch and dinner meal deals that already existed on the McValue platform will continue to start at $5.
The updates build directly on the McValue Menu that McDonald’s rolled out nationwide in 2025.
In its official statement the company said the revamped platform “offers customers more of what they’re craving – more choice and flexibility, and meals at a great price.”
The new structure replaces the previous buy-one-add-one-for-a-dollar format with a simpler, standardized set of low-price items.
McDonald’s has not disclosed exact prices for every Under $3 item beyond the two highlighted sandwiches, but the chain described the entire selection as falling below the $3 threshold at participating locations.
The offerings will appear on menu boards and the app at restaurants that adopt the updated McValue platform.
The April 21 rollout marks the latest step in McDonald’s effort to standardize value pricing across its U.S. system after two years of menu tweaks and customer input on affordability.
