Xiaomi Civi 6 Pro leak points to first Pro variant in the lifestyle-focused series

A new leak shared on April 30, 2026, by prominent Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station indicates that Xiaomi plans to release two models in its next Civi generation: a standard Xiaomi Civi 6 and a higher-end Civi 6 Pro. The Civi series, which has typically featured a single model per iteration and targets users seeking slim designs with strong selfie and portrait capabilities, has not previously included a distinct Pro edition.
According to the leaks by DCS and others, the standard Civi 6 would come with a 6.59-inch 1.5K display and MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset. The Pro model would upgrade to a larger 6.83-inch 1.5K screen and step up to the more powerful Dimensity 9500 processor. Both variants are expected to share a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens offering 5x optical zoom, continuing the series' emphasis on imaging hardware.

The Civi lineup has incorporated Leica tuning since the Civi 4 Pro introduced the Leica Summilux optical system, and the Civi 6 models are anticipated to maintain that partnership for color science and processing consistency.
Earlier reports from February 2026 had already revived interest in the Civi 6 after rumors of cancellation circulated in late 2025. At that time, separate Weibo posts from tipsters Smart Pikachu and Digital Chat Station suggested the device remained in development.
Those leaks described a 6.59-inch quad-curved LIPO display, Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset in one set of details, a 200-megapixel main rear camera with 3x telephoto, and a 50-megapixel autofocus selfie camera. Additional features mentioned included dual speakers, an X-axis linear motor for haptics, a metal frame, glass back, and a dedicated customizable AI button.
The April 30 leak introduces differentiation within the lineup rather than replacing prior details entirely. It remains unclear how the February specifications align with the latest distinction between standard and Pro models, as tipster information can evolve or apply to different configurations during development. Xiaomi has not issued any official confirmation or press materials about the Civi 6 series as of this date.
The Civi phones have historically stayed exclusive to the Chinese market, though Xiaomi has rebranded select models for other regions. The Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro, for example, appeared globally as the Xiaomi 15 Civi. A similar approach could apply here, but no details on international availability have surfaced.
Launch timing for the Civi 6 and Civi 6 Pro points to the first half of 2026, based on the most recent leak. Exact pricing, full camera configurations beyond the shared periscope unit, battery capacity, charging speeds, and software details such as the version of HyperOS have not been disclosed. Xiaomi has offered no statements on the matter.
The emergence of a Pro variant would mark an expansion of the Civi series aimed at bridging lifestyle-oriented design with more flagship-level components in select areas.
