Oppo Find X9s India price leak points to a higher tag than Find X9

Oppo’s Find X9s is set to launch in India on May 21, according to the company’s own India event page and an April 22 press release that said the Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s would arrive in May.
The official launch materials still stop short of naming a price, but a fresh leak from a prominent tipster says the 12GB and 256GB Find X9s could cost INR 79,999, which would place it above the existing Find X9, now sold from INR 74,999 on Oppo’s India store.
Oppo’s April release said the company would share:
“pricing, availability, and the official launch timeline for the Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s closer to launch in May,” and added that “The Find X9 Series underscores our commitment to delivering a truly premium smartphone experience to users in India.”
The official store listing now shows both the Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s as launching on 21 May 2026, which makes the date itself look locked in even if the India pricing is still unconfirmed.
The leak itself comes with a hardware story that is more interesting than the price.
Tipster Abhishek Yadav says the Find X9s will use MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500s, a 6.59-inch FHD+ OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 7,025mAh battery, 80W wired charging, a triple 50MP rear camera setup and a 32MP front camera, along with IP68 and IP69 ratings.
A separate report from 91mobiles says the Find X9s “drops wireless charging” and trims back some premium hardware compared with the standard Find X9, even as it adds newer connectivity parts such as Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.1.

That is where the pricing rumor starts to look unusual. Oppo’s official Find X9 page says the standard Find X9 runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500, includes a 7025mAh battery and supports 80W SUPERVOOC wired charging plus 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging, while the company’s store currently lists the phone from INR 74,999.
If the INR 79,999 leak proves accurate, the Find X9s would sit above the Find X9 on price even though the official Find X9 retains the more complete feature set on Oppo’s own site.
For now, the only confirmed part is the launch timing.
Oppo has already put the Find X9s into its India launch machinery, the company says the pricing details will come closer to launch, and the leaked number remains just that, a leak.
The final India package will decide whether the Find X9s is a priced-up compact alternative or a phone that asks buyers to pay more for a trimmed-down spec sheet.
