SEO: How To Master Your On-Page Search Engine Optimization

So, without any further useless explanations read the exact way of doing proper on-page search engine optimization for getting huge organic traffic:

1. Metadata and Tags

Mastering your on-page search engine optimization is not that too bad thing which are not giving time to.

Its far far easier than you think its harder and here is what we call metadata and tags in terms of on-page SEO and rankings:
  • Title tag (headlines)
  • Description (serp description)
  • Breadcrumbs (category tags)
Really how simple is to seoptimize your every article with metadata and tags. See how they will give an impact on your serps:
metadata and tags sample for on-page seo
Above is an example of metadata with tags and serps difference in 3 websites, first is showing simple search description, 2nd is showing related links and 3rd (YouTube) video search spot is showing video uploader's name and description with thumbnail.

NOTE: Not always the better description works and that's why Google indexes your total article's content and many times it shows the article body text to make the serp relevant to user's query.

Its not just metadata and tags, the next thing is scheme and you can read more about the scheme markup below.

2. Schema Markup

Schema markup is one of the coolest things for search engine optimization experts and all of the content creators as they are in love with this markup language.

Why in Love?

Because they knows how schema markup works and also for your information: Schema Markup can also help you get your pages displayed in Google rich snippets and make your CTR to go higher and higher again.

To know more about this by Google itself watch the video right below:

3. Internal Links Structure

Backlinking is matter, but what type of the backlinks do better for your content pages when you are not able to create high quality backlinks from other top pages?

For a surefire line: Internal links can help you get good serp rankings by helping your readers to find more of your pages and when they navigate through your content pages to other content pages at your blog/site the search bots will find this activity a plus point to rank your pages higher in serps.

For this purpose we have to make use of Internal link structure rightly and do it according what I am going to describe here:
  • Link your pages to new and old pages
  • Make sure you are linking to relevant pages
For an example: If your blog top is hair and nails and you are creating a new blog post about nails than add links of nail related articles not hair related.

The only thing which will boost your rankings in Google SERPS by internal link structure is boosting the user engagement with reducing the bounce rate as they are visiting the related pages so readers will tend to spend more time on different pages of your website/blog.

4. Images

Images plays a vital role in terms of on-page search engine optimization of any blog or website and what we have to consider for making images on the articles seo-friendly is written below:
  • Add title tag
  • Add alt-text
  • Give credit or make your own images
All I have to say for images is to make sure you are uploading only relevant and high quality images in your articles so that people will not leave your content pages in first few seconds.

I am making it sure that everybody who is reading this article is able to do on-page SEO with best and right methods.
