To Operate in Pakistan, All Social Media Companies Must Set Up Offices in Islamabad
As per the new rules of social media, registration of all global social media platforms has been made mandatory in Pakistan in 3 months.

Under the new rules to regulate social media in Pakistan, all social media companies will have to set up their office in Islamabad within 3 months and a bill has been approved by the cabinet.


He has also been conditioned to appoint a liaison officer in Pakistan.

Several social media users reacted to the new government's rules, in which Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhry wrote in his tweet responding to a user, "How did these laws go against the freedom of the media?"

He said digital media advertising would be higher than traditional media. He said that no country can afford to spread money without a framework, so the government's decision on social media platforms is not political.
