It will open a new gate to users of Telegram app for accessing new features that might not be available to free users and many other benefits such as sending a large file size document, more fast experience and much more.

An official statement issued by Pavel Durov (Telegram Founder) said that they are launching a paid Telegram Premium subscription later this month and it will give users additional features, speed and resources.

However, the existing features that users are already enjoying will be kept free for everyone.

He also shared that the UI of app will be the same for every user free or paid as they (free users) will be able to view and download large files sent to them from a premium user and also can interact with Premium stickers and reactions that only the Premium Tier users will be able to send.

In a surprisingly converting way, premium users may not see any ads in the app which will surely make it a blessing for some of the app users.

This new paywall feature could make Telegram a premium messaging platform as WhatsApp is still free and lacks privacy (as per articles circulating over the internet) and telegram app is a favorite of users who do care about their privacy, they are likely to pay for the features that WhatsApp users are already using for free.

However, there are some features that still are unique in Telegram app and other apps are still not able to copy them.

What will be the price of Telegram paid account? Not yet confirmed from an official statement.

Although, from the beta version of Telegram free app, we can see that it could be $4.99/month and have features such as fast downloads, voice-to-text messages, extra tools and you will be able to customize your chats and do more in the coming weeks.
