UAE Rolls Out AI-Powered Learning Tools for Students and Teachers
The UAE is integrating artificial intelligence into its education system, introducing AI-powered learning platforms and training programs for both students and educators.

The Ministry of Education has partnered with ASI to develop an AI-powered tutor aligned with the new national curriculum. This initiative aims to provide personalized learning experiences, enabling students to learn at their own pace while receiving real-time feedback.
UAE's Ministry of Education posted on X to introduce an AI curriculum in public schools starting from the 2025-2026 academic year, and here are its 7 core concepts:
- Data and algorithms
- Software applications
- Ethical awareness in AI
- Real-world AI applications
- AI-driven innovation and project design
- AI policies
- Social engagement
While the AI tutor is set to roll out in phases, starting with pilot programs in select schools across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah in early 2025. Plans include expanding the platform nationwide by the end of the next academic year.
In Dubai, a program has been launched to train all teachers in artificial intelligence applications. The initiative seeks to equip educators with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively use AI in their teaching practices.
The top ten teachers who successfully integrate AI into their teaching will be recognized with awards totaling Dh1 million during the next edition of the AI Retreat in April 2025.
Sheikha Mariam bint Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice Chairperson of the Council, said:
“As AI becomes the language of the future, introducing it in schools is a gateway to shaping the future itself,” she noted.
To make things more interesting, Samsung Gulf Electronics has expanded its Galaxy AI Pioneers Program to all classrooms across the UAE. The program aims to educate over 4,000 students in AI, coding, content creation, and online safety. It covers topics such as basic AI and Python, machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, AI robotics, and natural language processing.
These initiatives align with the UAE's broader strategy to integrate advanced technologies across all sectors, as outlined in the UAE Centennial 2071 vision.
By embracing AI in education, the UAE aims to prepare students for future careers in emerging technologies and help them develop the skills necessary to thrive in a rapidly evolving job market.
