Kandi Burruss filed for divorce from Todd Tucker after 11 years of marriage, according to a statement she provided on Nov. 21.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum confirmed the separation in an exclusive interview, where she said:

"After deep thought and a lot of prayer, I’ve made the decision to move forward with a divorce. This is a difficult and emotional time, but my focus remains on protecting my peace, being the best mother I can be, and co-parenting with love and respect. I’m stepping into a new chapter pouring into my work, my family, and my own growth. I’m grateful to everyone who supported us throughout the years, and I ask for privacy, grace, and understanding as we navigate this transition with our family."

Burruss, 49, and Tucker, 52, share son Ace, 9, and daughter Blaze, 5, in addition to Burruss' daughter Riley, 23, from a prior relationship with Russell Spencer, and Tucker's daughter Kaela, 29, from a prior relationship with Keema Parker.

The couple met in 2011 during production of the fourth season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, when Tucker worked as a line producer on the show. They announced their engagement in January 2013 and married in April 2014 during a Coming to America-themed ceremony in Atlanta.

Burruss and Tucker expanded their family with the birth of Ace in January 2016 and Blaze via surrogate in November 2019.

The pair starred together in the 2022 Bravo spinoff Kandi & The Gang, which followed operations at their Atlanta restaurant OLG.

Speculation about the split arose earlier this month after Burruss removed Tucker from her Instagram handle and appeared without her wedding ring while accepting the Wifetime Achievement Award at BravoCon 2025 on Nov. 14.

Tucker did not attend the event, yet Burruss acknowledged him in her speech, saying:

"To Todd, thank you for surviving the blogs, the shade, the rumors, the lies, the truth, the almost fights, the actual fights, the reunions... You earned this award too."

Tucker commented on a video of the speech posted to Instagram on Nov. 16, writing, "Much deserved, you did it with class and dignity. You’re an inspiration to many. You’re the GOAT!"

The couple last appeared together publicly at Tameka "Tiny" Harris' 50th birthday party on July 14.

Burruss departed The Real Housewives of Atlanta in February 2024 after 14 seasons, explaining at the time, "I decided I’m not coming back this year... It’s been 14 seasons, and they allowed us to sit around for a little too long, but during that time I had started working on a lot of other things, and I got some nice big projects coming soon."

In March 2022, for their eighth anniversary, Burruss posted a video montage on Instagram set to her song Forever Love, captioning it, "We've got that forever kind of love! Happy Anniversary my love!!! @todd167, You were the perfect man for me. I'm a better me with you! 😘❤️ 8 years down & a lifetime to go!"

Tucker shared a photo slideshow that day, writing, "8 years of blessings! God is so amazing, he makes no mistakes. We have a forever kinda of love! I look forward to our future and a life time [sic] of love. Happy anniversary to my amazing wife @kandi I Love you!" In October 2022, Burruss described the key to their marriage as "just great communication and having fun together," adding, "We have a real understanding of each other."

She also noted their shared ambitions, saying, "We have intertwined our wants and desires. We have all these dreams, and sometimes, I'll be all out of the box, but he'll still be like, 'Okay babe, let's do it.'"
