Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez acquired two luxury villas at Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve Residence in Saudi Arabia's Red Sea project. The couple selected a three-bedroom villa for family gatherings and a two-bedroom villa for quieter retreats.

These properties form part of 19 private residences on the island, which lies 26 kilometers offshore from the mainland and requires access by chartered boat or seaplane. Villas at Nujuma start at around £3 million and reach up to £4.5 million, placing the total value of the purchases near £7 million.

The residences overlook the sea with private pools and direct access to the shoreline, arranged in a ring formation over the water.

Nujuma draws from seashell shapes and Arabian motifs in its architecture, featuring curved lines and interiors that mix contemporary styles with regional touches.

The site belongs to a larger development with 63 resort villas, a golf course, dining options, and plans for 11 additional resorts.

Red Sea Global announced the transaction on December 22, 2025, noting Ronaldo and Rodriguez as among the initial owners at the destination.

Ronaldo, under a two-year contract worth £492 million with Al-Nassr in Riyadh, positions the island nearly 800 miles from his professional base.

The area focuses on environmental efforts, aiming for a 30 percent net conservation gain by 2040 through coral safeguards and marine protection.

Guests and residents can engage in diving, water sports, wellness activities, and cuisine inspired by coastal traditions.

The outer reef hosts sharks, sea turtles, and dolphin groups, with restricted entry to prevent harm from boats.

"It’s truly exceptional in every sense of the word. From our first visit, Georgina and I felt a deep connection with this island and its breathtaking natural beauty. It’s a place where we find peace and tranquility," Ronaldo said.

Tony Coveney, general manager at the Ritz-Carlton Reserve and St Regis Red Sea Resort, described the surroundings:

"The coral is gorgeous, alive and full of colour."

He added the location offers a natural dark sky for star viewing, with no cities in proximity.
