LG Electronics plans to unveil its Gallery TV at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, positioning the device as a competitor to Samsung's The Frame in the market for televisions that double as art displays.

The Gallery TV, available in 55-inch and 65-inch sizes, features a 4K MiniLED screen with a specialized anti-glare panel that minimizes reflections for viewing artwork.

It includes swappable magnetic frames for customization, along with internal memory for storing personal content.

The device incorporates Gallery Mode, which adjusts color and brightness to replicate the texture of original artworks, a feature developed in collaboration with museum curators.

It also automatically adapts picture quality to ambient lighting changes.

Powered by LG's Alpha 7 AI processor, the TV delivers standard smart TV functionality when not in art mode, including AI Sound Pro for virtual 9.1.2-channel audio.

The accompanying LG Gallery+ service provides access to 4,500 artworks, with a free light version available on LG TVs and a full subscription version that refreshes content monthly via webOS Pay.

Users can display personal photos or generate custom images using AI, and pair visuals with background music or streaming audio through Bluetooth.

“We will continue to lead the market by expanding our lifestyle TV lineup, transforming the screen into a companion that fluidly adapts to our customers’ preferences,” said Park Hyoung-sei, president of the LG Media Entertainment Solution Company.

Pricing details for the LG Gallery TV remain undisclosed.
