Vivo T4 Pro Starts Receiving OriginOS 6 Software Update

Vivo initiated the rollout of its OriginOS 6 operating system update to the T4 Pro smartphone in mid-December 2025, delivering Android 16-based enhancements to eligible devices worldwide.

The update introduces features such as widget stacking on the home screen, separate notifications and quick settings panels, and AI integrations including image retouching tools and document management capabilities.

The company scheduled the stable version for the T4 Pro following beta testing, with the deployment occurring in phases across regions.

Users access the update through the device's settings under system and software update sections.

The OriginOS 6 builds on Vivo's software platform, incorporating performance improvements like faster app launches and enhanced battery efficiency.

“For years, vivo has deepened its global presence under the principle of ‘More Local, More Global,’ and continues to create products and experiences that stay true to users’ needs,” said SHI Yujian, senior vice president and chief technology officer at Vivo.

Today, the vivo T4 Pro joins other models in the T series, including the T4 and T4 Ultra, in receiving the update as part of Vivo's commitment to two years of major software upgrades for devices launched within that timeframe.

The rollout extends to additional Vivo and iQOO devices through early 2026.
