DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro Clears FCC Hurdle, Paving Way for Global Rollout with Battery Upgrade

SZ DJI Osmo Technology Co., Ltd. obtained Federal Communications Commission certification for its Osmo Pocket 4 Pro handheld camera on December 22, 2025, in Washington, D.C., according to public regulatory filings.
The approval, under FCC ID 2ANDR-PP041, marks a key step for the device's entry into the U.S. market and indicates broader international availability, as the company typically seeks such clearances ahead of product releases.

The DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Pro model, listed as PP-041 and also referred to as Osmo Pocket 4P, includes an electronic label system where users access compliance information by swiping down on the camera view, tapping settings, and selecting the relevant menu.
Certification documents, signed by Niki Fang, the company's certification supervisor, on December 15, 2025, confirm compliance with federal rules on equipment authorization and labeling.

The filing specifies a battery rated at 1,545 milliamp-hours and 7.7 volts, delivering 11.96 watt-hours, which represents an increase from the 1,300 milliamp-hour capacity in the predecessor Osmo Pocket 3 model.
"The Osmo Pocket 4 Pro is listed with a 1,545mAh battery at 7.7V," the Gizmochina report stated, based on the FCC documents.
Additional certifications in the filing include Industry Canada standards, with identifiers such as IC: 23060-PP041 and notations for indoor use restrictions on certain frequencies.
The approval comes after a similar clearance for the standard Osmo Pocket 4 model months earlier, and the FCC has granted DJI's request to withhold internal photos and schematics until June 20, 2026.
"With the FCC ID 2ANDR-PP041 now public, the DJI Osmo Pocket 4P is cleared for sale in the USA, paving the way for an imminent launch," according to details in the New Camera publication.

The device also meets specific absorption rate limits for radio frequency exposure, with test reports from SGS-CSTC Standards Technical Services Co., Ltd. in Shenzhen showing values below federal thresholds for body-worn and extremity operation.
