The latest rumor emerged from an Instagram account known as lego_minecraft_goat, which posted details in a story about an upcoming set numbered 42232 scheduled for a July 2026 launch.
"It’s said to retail for $449.99 in the US and €449.99 in Europe, matching the price of recent entries 42143 Ferrari Daytona SP3 and 42172 McLaren P1," according to a report from Brick Fanatics, a site specializing in LEGO news.
No official confirmation has come from the LEGO Group, which typically announces such sets closer to release dates through its website or at events like the Nuremberg Toy Fair.
The rumored set would arrive alongside another reported release, a green recolor of the 42222 Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport Hypercar as set 42241 in June 2026, priced at $64.99 in the United States and €64.99 in Europe with an expected 771 pieces matching the original.
Speculation about the specific vehicle for 42232 has circulated among fan communities, with content creators examining patterns in LEGO's licensing deals and recent automotive launches.
A video from RacingBrick, a recognized LEGO fan media outlet, explored possibilities based on Speed Champions sets and new car debuts.
"It’s anyone’s guess as to what could follow this summer, but RacingBrick has thrown around a few ideas already, such as the Aston Martin Valhalla and Pagani Utopia," the Brick Fanatics report stated.
The Aston Martin Valhalla, a mid-engine hybrid supercar unveiled in 2021 with production starting in 2024, features a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine combined with electric motors for over 1,000 horsepower.
