OnePlus Pad Lite Now Receiving OxygenOS 16 Update as Rollout Reaches Final Eligible Device

OnePlus began rolling out the OxygenOS 16 software update to the OnePlus Pad Lite on February 12 2026.

The firmware builds OPD2481_16.0.3.500(EX01) and OPD2480_16.0.3.500(EX01) started seeding in India with plans to expand to other regions in batches.

OnePlus announced it on its official community forum.

The post stated:

"Thank you so much for your interest in and love for OxygenOS 16 with the team's unremitting efforts now I am thrilled to share that we have started the global rollout of OxygenOS 16."

"The rollout begins TODAY across IN regions and will continue to reach more regions and users in batches."

The completion of the OxygenOS 16 rollout covers a full list of devices that received the update in prior phases.

These include the OnePlus Open, the OnePlus 13 13R and 13s series, the OnePlus 12 and 12R, the OnePlus 11 and 11R, the OnePlus 10 Pro, the Nord 5 Nord 4 and Nord 3, the Nord CE 5 Nord CE 4 and Nord CE 4 Lite 5G, and the Pad 3 Pad 2 and Pad models.

The update delivers specific changes documented in the official changelog.

These encompass fluid animations for text selection status bar transitions audio controls and swipe back gestures as well as light field motion effects powered by the Luminous Rendering Engine.

Performance upgrades come through the Trinity Engine with optimizations for storage RAM compression high load scenarios gaming and app launches.

AI features appear in the Photos app for album navigation and video editing in the Notes app for block editing and text tools and in the Recorder app with a redesigned interface.

Customization options include the Flux Home screen with new icon styles folder layouts and search improvements plus AI powered themes that adapt to wallpapers along with Lock screen text and shortcut controls.

Connectivity enhancements cover grouped device settings My Devices widgets in Quick Settings and Home screen network optimizations and improved Bluetooth pairing for vehicles.

Additional details involve expanded Quick Settings tiles streamlined notifications language support for Bosnian app locking and hiding options and faster data migration from iOS devices.

Users with the OnePlus Pad Lite can check for the update through the Settings menu under System and Updates then Software update.
