CHUWI Launches AuBox X Mini PC with Intel Core Ultra Processors and Up to 115 TOPS AI Performance

CHUWI has released the AuBox X, a compact AI-focused mini PC built around Intel's latest Lunar Lake Series 2 processors.

The device measures just 128.4 by 128.4 by 40.5 millimeters and occupies 0.67 liters of volume while weighing 580 grams, making it suitable for desk setups or VESA mounting behind a monitor.

It ships with Windows 11 Pro and targets users who need strong local AI capabilities alongside everyday productivity and light creative work.

The system comes in two configurations.

The entry-level model uses the Intel Core Ultra 5 226V processor with eight cores and eight threads, a maximum turbo frequency of 4.5 gigahertz, Intel Arc 130V graphics, and 16 gigabytes of LPDDR5X-8533 memory soldered on package.

Storage starts at 512 gigabytes of PCIe NVMe SSD with room for expansion through dual M.2 2280 slots that support up to one PCIe 5.0 drive.

Total AI performance reaches 97 TOPS across CPU, GPU, and NPU. The higher-end version steps up to the Intel Core Ultra 7 256V with a 4.8 gigahertz turbo, Intel Arc 140V graphics, and total AI performance of 115 TOPS, including up to 47 TOPS from the dedicated Intel AI Boost NPU.

Both models maintain the same chassis, memory capacity, and connectivity options.

Connectivity includes one USB4 port with 40 gigabits per second bandwidth and eGPU support, four USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, two full-featured USB-C ports, two 2.5-gigabit Ethernet jacks, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, and a 3.5-millimeter audio jack.

The setup supports triple displays at up to 8K at 60 hertz or 4K at 144 hertz.

Wireless coverage comes from Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. Cooling keeps noise below 45 decibels across an 8-to-37-watt TDP range.

CHUWI highlights the platform's ability to run large language models locally with minimal latency and full data privacy, along with compatibility for the open-source OpenClaw AI assistant that operates continuously in the background on Windows or WSL.

Official CHUWI communications describe the device directly. One post states:

"Up to 115 TOPS of AI power right on your desk. Run large models locally. Multitask like it’s nothing. Less waiting. More privacy."

The company positions the AuBox X as a second machine for users who want dedicated AI acceleration without relying on cloud services or larger desktop systems.

Pre-orders opened in mid-April 2026 through CHUWI's global and US stores. The Ultra 5 226V model carries a current sale price of 699 dollars, reduced from 799 dollars with the discount running through May 20.

The Ultra 7 256V version lists at 829 dollars on sale from a regular price of 929 dollars, though some reports note an initial promotional price near 759 dollars before the early-bird window closes. Global shipping is available with free options on qualifying orders.

The AuBox X arrives at a time when Intel's Lunar Lake platform has brought Copilot+ level AI features to compact systems, giving CHUWI an affordable entry into that segment while preserving full expansion and display flexibility that many smaller mini PCs omit.
