The promotional materials highlight a new integrated hardware element called Pixel Glow. The teaser video shows a circular LED ring positioned next to the rear camera lenses that cycles through multiple colors. Early technical analysis suggests this component functions as a multi-colored notification indicator and a visual cue for artificial intelligence features.
Google explicitly named the upcoming devices on its corporate storefront:
"The next generation. Google Pixel 11. August 12,"
An official calendar invitation provides further scheduling and theme details:
"Tune in to Made By Google on August 12 at 6 pm ET / 3 pm PT to learn the latest news and updates, from Gemini Intelligence to the new lineup of Google Pixel"
The corporate broadcast will begin at 6 p.m. Eastern Time.

Pre-orders for the entire lineup will open immediately after the presentation wraps up. US buyers who register for promotional emails before August 7 will receive a discount code for unlocked models.
Industry trackers expect the company to introduce four smartphones during the keynote. The anticipated roster consists of the standard Pixel 11, the Pixel 11 Pro, the larger Pro XL, and a folding model named the Pro Fold.
Leaked specifications from retail listings indicate that Google is dropping the 128-gigabyte base model. Every option in the line will start with a minimum of 256 gigabytes of internal storage.
The internal upgrades include a shift in processing architecture.
Supply chain reports indicate the devices will run on a Tensor G6 chip manufactured using TSMC’s 2-nanometer process.
Google is also replacing its previous cellular hardware with a new MediaTek M90 modem to improve wireless network efficiency.
The expanded storage and updated processors could impact consumer costs. Leaked European retail details suggest a price increase of roughly 100 Euros, which translates to an estimated 114-dollar hike in the United States.
Retail leaks price the base model of the Pixel 11 Pro at 1,099 dollars. The premium Pro Fold could reach 1,899 dollars.
The physical appearance of the slab-style phones remains largely identical to previous generations, featuring a flat display and a horizontal camera bar across the back.
The teaser confirms a new gold color variant for the Pro model. The folding model features an updated, narrower camera island with rearranged sensors and a larger flash unit.
Google has not verified any pricing data, chip architectures, or storage changes before the formal event.
