Oppo Finalizes Mid-Range Smartphone Packing 10000mAh Battery
Oppo is preparing to release a mid-range smartphone equipped with a 10,000mAh battery, named the Oppo A7 Pro Max.

Data leaked by digital industry tracker Digital Chat Station on Weibo reveals the device has entered its final launch preparation stage. The release follows an industry trend where brands increase battery sizes to offset rising memory component costs.
The smartphone utilizes a specialized single-cell battery configuration with a rated minimum capacity of 9,700mAh and a typical performance value of 10,000mAh. Traditional dual-cell systems require secondary wiring and voltage transformation circuits that take up internal device volume. By removing these extra components, Oppo freed up internal space, gaining roughly five to eight percent more capacity within the same physical dimensions.
The structural diagram illustrates how modern manufacturers pack high-density cells directly into tight chassis spaces to optimize phone life.

The phone measures 8.47 millimeters thick and weighs 226 grams even with the large battery capacity. For comparison, several recent flagship devices with batteries under 5,000mAh weigh up to 231 grams and measure over 8.7 millimeters thick. The use of silicon-carbon negative electrode materials allowed engineers to increase energy density without swelling the outer shell.
The internal hardware relies on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processor, a 4-nanometer platform introduced in May 2026. This mid-tier processor manages daily applications efficiently to prevent excessive power drain on the cell. The phone supports 80-watt wired fast charging to reduce the time spent connected to a wall outlet.
A 6.78-inch flat OLED panel serves as the primary display, offering a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Security features include an optical under-display fingerprint scanner embedded directly beneath the glass panel.
The camera configuration pairs a 50-megapixel front-facing sensor with a dual rear setup. The main rear camera captures images at 50 megapixels, assisted by a basic 2-megapixel secondary lens.
Oppo encased the device components inside a specialized polymer shell to ensure drop protection. Digital Chat Station specified on Weibo that the phone is:
"made of high polymer drop-resistant materials."
The choice of structural elements reveals the balancing act Oppo performed to hit an affordable price point. Industry analysts state that manufacturers face hard choices when building high-capacity battery phones, often scaling back other technical features to stay budget-friendly.
Oppo substituted high-end optics and premium aluminum casings for a lower-cost processor and plastic frame.
The handset will target an initial price of approximately 2,000 Chinese Yuan, which matches roughly 295 US Dollars. Retail availability will initially center on the domestic Chinese market before any potential regional rollout.
