Digiskills to Collaborate with Szabist at Job Fair 2020
DigiSkills will support Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology at the annual Job Fair 2020 to provide a platform for undergraduate youth to find employment opportunities.

The DigiSkills.PK is Pakistan's largest online training program, organized by the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecom, developed and implemented by Ignite Pakistan.

Dr. Zafar Alvi, Project Director DigiSkills, along with other Corporate Sector representatives were present on the occasion. The purpose of this program was to provide postgraduate students the opportunity to interact with corporate sector representatives from management science, social sciences, computer sciences and media science subjects.

More than 30 industry-leading companies participated in this 1-day event. Some notable names include Land.com, Ufone, Ideas, PTCL, Faisal Bank, Balance Investment, Healing Foundation, Serena Hotel, Jubilee Insurance, etc.

Participating companies were given the opportunity at Job Fair to present themselves as a preferred employer in front of fresh, motivated and talented students. In the keynote address, Dr. Zafar Alvi, Project Director, DigiSkills, highlighted the importance of such events to bridge the gap between educational institutions and industries.

He added that aspirants seeking courses offered at Digi Skills will equip candidates with the potential for success in the recruitment process. He also said,
"Each person should evaluate themselves to see what skills he or she can discriminate with their classmates."
DigiSkills offers free online training in 10 different courses, including freelancing, e-commerce management, digital literacy, digital marketing, AutoCAD, WordPress, creative writing, QuickBooks, graphic design and search engine optimization.

All specific skills increase the ability to earn after learning, which will increase career prospects and opportunities for business expansion.

All courses are certified by the government and approved by the proposed authority.
