In case if you don't know him, Jeff Bezos is an American business magnate and founder of Amazon. Amazon is the company that made him the richest person on the planet earth and now his second company called Blue Origin is empowering him to take an 11 minutes flight to space. Yes, the billionaire is looking forward to flying to space with Blue Origin's New Shepard rocket alongside his brother and four other people.

Bezos founded Blue Origin in 2000 and since then doing experiments to make low-cost space travel possible. Making it a reality, Bezos shared:

"Ever since I was five years old, I’ve dreamed of traveling to space. On July 20th, I will take that journey with my brother." June 7, 2021 on his official Instagram account.

The billionaire added that he will do this space trip with his brother and earlier shared that besides his brother trailblazing female pilot will also go to space at age 82 and another mystery bidder, who won a Blue Origin charity auction after pledging $28 million to donations will also fly with Jeff Bezos and the crew.

When Is Jeff Bezos Going to Space?

As we shared, Jeff Bezos's space flight is scheduled for July 20, 2021. The flight will take off on this fixed date and prior to this, on July 5, 2021, Bezos will step down as CEO of Amazon. Andy Jassy will be the new CEO of Amazon and Jeff Bezos will enjoy an 11 minute crewed trip to space for the very first time.

How Long Is Jeff Bezos Space Flight?

It will be an 11-minute short ride to space on a reusable rocket. Bezos will fly to space just for 11 minutes to fulfill his childhood dream and see the earth from space. The billionaire will go to space for 11 minutes with the rocket's crew, his younger brother Mark Bezos, an 82-year-old woman Wally Funk who is trained to be an astronaut and mystery bidder will also go to space with Bezos.

How to Watch Jeff Bezos Go into Space?

We suspect that first of its kind, the space travel with Jeff Bezos will be live-streamed on Blue Origin's official website and Youtube channel. As they always live-stream their test launches, chances are they will live-stream Jeff Bezos go into space with his crew members. However, we can't say this confidently as Bezos is the one who will decide this and there are no official statements about this.

How Deep into Space Will Jeff Bezos Fly?

According to a graphic of the flight trajectory on Blue Origin's website in reality, Jeff Bezos will be in the space for a few minutes as it will be an 11-minute flight and when the jeff bezos spaceship will enter into Karman line that's when space begins at an altitude of 62 miles above sea level. The spaceship will fly back to earth for landing safely.

Will Jeff Bezos Fly Back to Earth?

Hopefully yes. However, this is a very risk flight as space travel is not like flying aeroplanes. It's about rockets, science and latest technological advancements. Having in mind that Bezos' rocket is fully automated and build with foolproof software and hardware combination, still its too risky for a human to travel to space like that.
