How to Record a Google Meet Video Call for Free?

Its a conference? a meeting? or an important company event? even if its about a simple call from your loved ones, you can press the recording button (available officially in Google Meet) and record a copy of your online video call and here's how to do it in just a few steps:

  1. Open your Browser and go to Google Meet and start or join a meeting.
  2. During that video meeting, click three-dots button at the bottom right corner
  3. Click "Record meeting" and accept "Ask for consent" pop-up.

It will start your recording and you can stop it whenever you want or it will stop when all the participants leave the video chat. You can stop the recording by follow simple steps:

  1. During a Google Meet call, click on the three-dots menu option.
  2. Find and click on the "Stop recording" option, confirm from the pop-up.
