While launching the ad campaign for Windows 11, Microsoft confirmed this by talking about it to The Register. Microsoft also shares that the company is still upgrading final versions of Windows 11 with Windows Insider and beta channels.

While talking about M1 support and errors, Microsoft also states that the company is still working on removing some taskbar errors when we use Windows 11 on Microsoft Surface Pro X. Microsoft is still working on the global launch of Windows 11 so the support for M1 will be delayed for an unpredicted time.

A few days ago, a Windows 11 installed Mac virtual machine was spotted on the internet that ran into a few serious hardware compatibility issues and displayed an error in the Windows Insider build. Thus Apple device users started asking questions about the compatibility of Windows 11 for Apple devices with M1 chips.

The global launch date of Windows 11 is scheduled for the 5th of October 2021.
