Yes, WhatsApp for Android beta v2.22.18.9 just revealed that WhatsApp is going to announce a feature that will empower admins to approve or reject participants, and the new feature named “Approve new participants” in the Meta owned WhatsApp.

WABetaInfo (a WhatsApp feature tracking website) that WhatsApp will soon release a new feature to let the group admins approve or reject requests of new group participants who want to join a WhatsApp group private or public.

The feature will be available under the group settings menu.

Earlier, Mark Zuckerberg announced a privacy feature that let a group member leave without letting anyone other in the group to know.

This news comes after a few days after Meta's CEO announced a privacy-focused WhatsApp feature.

This new Whatsapp group feature will help admins to easily cope with fake accounts and keep their groups clean.
