Useful Apple Watch features you might not have known about

A smartwatch complements your image, monitors your vital health indicators, and helps you stay in touch. For example, you're rushing to a business meeting, holding your briefcase with essential documents in one hand and a thermos cup of coffee in the other, when your smartphone receives a message that needs to be urgently answered.

With the Apple Watch, you can set up automatic responses to messages from online casino applications, betting apps in india, and other programs and even sense the time with your fingertips (so you won't be late for that same meeting).

How? We'll tell you in this article - and reveal many more exciting features of the Apple Watch.

Take a screenshot of the watch screen

First, you need to turn this feature on. In the "Settings" of the watch, select the "Basic" item. Next, turn on "Screenshots".

Now check if this feature works by quickly pressing and releasing the watch lock button and the sound button at the same time. A "flash" should appear on the display when you press it. The screenshots are saved immediately in the iPhone gallery.

Set silent mode

So that at the most inopportune moment, such as in the theater, the watch does not beep a notification signal and does not put you in an awkward situation, intelligent clocks (as well as smartphones) can also be placed in silent mode.

  • Open "Control Center" on your smartwatch. Find the "bell" icon and click on it to turn on silent mode.
  • The watch screen will light up when you receive a notification once you raise your wrist.

Raise your wrist to talk to Siri

It is the simplest of all the easy smartwatches. You don't have to click anywhere; raise your wrist, bring the Apple Watch to your face, and start talking. Siri will instantly wake up and start answering you or executing commands now, thanks to its AI powers.

Turn off unwanted notifications

The Apple Watch lets you turn off notifications from specific messenger chats. But you should still wait for one piece of information first. Then, once you receive that message, swipe to the left on it. The notification won't disappear as it does on smartphones; you'll see a window suggesting "Clear All." Next, you need to click on the "Menu" button (three dots) and select "Turn off on Apple Watch."

Another option: set the "Deliver silently" feature to mute notifications' sound and vibration.

  • In the Watch app, go to "Notifications."
  • Scroll below for a list of all the apps on your smartphone.
  • Select the apps you wouldn't want to receive notifications from. But then all messages from the selected messenger or social network will be turned off.

Customize your workouts

Want to see your workout stats right on your smartwatch?

  • Open the Watch app on your smartphone.
  • Select "Workouts."
  • There, find "View" and select a workout.
  • Tap "Edit" to delete or add the metrics you want or change the order of the metrics altogether.

Customize your default answer list

On your smartphone, in the Watch app, select "Messages." Then tap "Default Responses." Here you'll see a list of saved responses that you can edit.

If you want to change the order of the responses or delete them altogether, tap the "Edit" button. To add a new answer, click "Add Answer."

Synchronize music with the Apple Watch

You don't have to turn on your music just through your smartphone. Instead, use the Apple Watch to do so.

  • In the Watch app, select "Music."
  • Tap on "Add More."
  • Select the desired album or playlist from the suggested ones.
  • Wait a while for the music chosen to sync with your Apple Watch.

Forced restart.

Smartphones aren't the only ones that crash and hang. The Apple Watch can also give you a few minutes of silence and stop responding to commands. So how do you get them out of this state?

Hold down the lock and mute buttons simultaneously for a few seconds.

The Apple Watch screen will start dark, but don't be alarmed; keep holding those buttons until the Apple logo appears.

Then release and wait for the watch to boot up again.

Change the bubbles to a list of apps on the home screen

The Apple Watch's home screen shows an immediately known collection of applications arranged as a bump map. Some individuals enjoy it, but others find it a brutal mess.

If you're one of the latter, we have great news! These bubbles can be made into a familiar list.

  • Tap and hold on to the screen to open the hidden menu.
  • Toggle the home screen to "View List," which displays your watch apps alphabetically.

Feel the Time

We left the most exciting part for last. You can tactilely feel the time - touch it with your fingers without even looking at your watch! So how do you do it? Tap the Apple Watch screen once to bring it out of sleep mode, then tap the screen with two fingers and hold. If you don't feel anything, you must turn this feature on.

  • In the Apple Watch app, open "Settings" and select "Watch.
  • Scroll down and tap on "Time haptically."

Here you need to select one of the options.

"Numbers" - here you feel the exact time. Long vibrations mean every 10 hours, and short pulses mean every hour. So, after a brief pause, the long vibrations are every 10 minutes, and the fast beats are every minute.

For example, the clock is 19:33.

You will feel one long vibration and nine short vibrations. Then, after the pause, there are three long and three faster vibrations. That would make 10+9 hours and 30+3 minutes.

"Short" is where you feel the approximate time. Long vibrations mean every 5 hours, and short vibrations mean the remaining hours. After a pause, long vibrations mean every quarter hour.

For example, the time is 8:02 p.m.

You will feel one long and three short vibrations (5+1+1+1 = 8 hours). The exact minutes are not transmitted here, only 15, 30, and 45. If you only felt the clock without minutes, it is not even a quarter of an hour yet.

If the clock is 20:17, you will feel one long vibration and three short ones (that's hours), and after a pause, another long beat. So that means it's 15 to 30 minutes.

"Morse code" - this option will appeal to those familiar with this alphabet. Others, unfortunately, will not understand anything.
