On October 24, 2025, at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada, 23-year-old Audrey Eckert representing Nebraska claimed the title of Miss USA 2025, the 74th edition of the national pageant.

Eckert overcame fifty other contestants, including Ivy Harrington (first runner-up, New Jersey) and Chantéa McIntyre (second runner-up, Oregon).

Her crowning was performed by Victoria Kjær Theilvig, Miss Universe 2024, owing to the absence of the outgoing Miss USA, Alma Cooper, who confirmed she would not attend the ceremony.

Eckert hails from Lincoln, Nebraska, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where she served as captain of the Huskers cheer squad.

In her professional role, she acts as a social-media and marketing coordinator for the Thai handbag brand Sapahn, and her estimated net worth is around $1 million.

Her advocacy work includes founding a digital-safety initiative called “Queen of Your Feed” aimed at educating young people about online identity and mentorship.

The Miss USA organization is under new leadership following a period of internal turbulence. In September, Thom Brodeur replaced Laylah Rose as CEO and announced changes intended to increase transparency in judging.

The event featured 51 delegates (one from each US state and the District of Columbia). The judging included rounds in swimsuit, evening gown and interview.

Her Highlights?

Eckert earned the preliminary “Best in Swimsuit” award.

Audrey Eckert will represent the United States at the Miss Universe 2025 competition scheduled for November in Thailand and will be eyeing the Miss Universe 2025 title too.

Her win marks the second time a contestant from Nebraska has taken the Miss USA crown (the first was Sarah Rose Summers in 2018).
