Floyd Roger Myers Jr Dies at 42

Actor Floyd Roger Myers Jr., known for his early roles in television, such as being the famous “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” child actor, has died at age 42.

According to his mother, Renee Trice, Myers passed away on the morning of October 29 2025 in his home in Maryland from a heart attack. Trice told TMZ that Floyd Roger Myers Jr. had 3 heart attacks over the last 3 years.

Myers first gained recognition in 1992 when he portrayed a young version of Will Smith's character in the sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel‑Air.

Later that same year he played Marlon Jackson in the miniseries The Jacksons: An American Dream. 

His last credited television appearance was in the 2000 series Young Americans.

Trice told TMZ that her son had suffered three previous heart attacks over the last three years before his fatal cardiac event.

He is survived by his four children: Taelyn, Kinsley, Tyler and Knox.

A GoFundMe page was organized by his sister Tyree Trice to assist with funeral costs.

The funeral is scheduled for November 3, 2025.

Myers co-founded the organisation Fellaship Men’s Group, which focused on supporting men in leadership and healing efforts.
