Honor Magic 8 Pro Air Leaked by Tipster Bald Panda Ahead of Expected Launch
Chinese smartphone manufacturer Honor has started teasing a new addition to its Magic series lineup in China, with tipster Bald Panda sharing a leaked render that displays the device's color variants in black, white, purple and orange.

The Honor Magic 8 Pro Air follows the Magic 8 and Magic 8 Pro models that debuted in October 2025 and positions itself as a compact handset with high-end specifications.
Honor president Fang Fei posted on Weibo wishing fans a year that is "increasingly Pro" and "increasingly Air" and mentioned that a smartphone with these two traits is in the pipeline.
Leaks indicate the Honor Magic 8 Pro Air measures 6.3 millimeters in thickness and weighs 158 grams, with the slimness and weight varying slightly by color variant.

The device features a 6.3-inch flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution and runs MagicOS 10 based on Android 16. It houses a Dimensity 9500 chipset, a 5,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging support and no wireless charging.
A sketch shared by tipster RuigePlayDigital on Weibo shows the Honor Magic 8 Pro Air with a wide pill-like camera module containing three lens rings and a tiny sensor, along with an AI button below the volume rockers and power key.
The device carries a 1/1.3-inch main camera, with the tipster stating that Honor will use a "Pro-level large main camera lens" for its upcoming ultra-thin smartphone.
Reports also claim the Honor Magic 8 Pro Air includes a telephoto camera.
Update: The Honor Magic 8 Pro Air is set to launch alongside the Magic 8 RSR before the Chinese New Year on January 19.
