The new Poco smartphone starts at Rs. 18,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, Rs. 19,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model, and Rs. 21,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage option.

Customers can purchase it at an introductory rate of Rs. 15,999 during the first 12 hours of sale, with additional bank discounts of Rs. 2,000 available on select cards.

The M8 5G features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 octa-core processor built on a 4nm process, paired with an Adreno 710 GPU and capable of scoring over 825,000 points on AnTuTu benchmarks.

It includes a 6.77-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,392 x 1,080 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and peak brightness reaching 3,200 nits.

The screen supports 3840Hz PWM dimming, 12-bit color depth, and 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut coverage.

The phone carries a dual rear camera system led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with a 1/2.88-inch Light Fusion 400 sensor and f/1.8 aperture, alongside a 2-megapixel secondary sensor, and it records video up to 4K at 30 frames per second.

A 20-megapixel front camera with f/2.2 aperture handles selfies and video calls at up to 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second.

Poco stated in an official post on X. The M8 5G houses a 5,520mAh battery that supports 45W wired fast charging and 18W wired reverse charging, with the charger included in the box. It runs Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0 out of the box, with commitments for four years of operating system updates and six years of security patches.

The device measures 164 x 75.42 x 7.35 millimeters, weighs 178 grams, and holds IP65 and IP66 ratings for dust and water resistance, plus MIL-STD-810H certification for durability.

Connectivity options encompass 5G in bands n1, n3, n5, n8, n28, n40, and n78, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, GLONASS, BDS, Galileo, and USB Type-C.

It also equips an in-display fingerprint sensor, infrared sensor, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and expandable storage up to 1TB via microSD card.

The M8 5G comes in Carbon Black, Frost Silver, and Glacial Blue colors, and sales begin on January 13, 2026, at 12 p.m. IST exclusively through Flipkart.
