Samsung Unveils Galaxy Book6 Series with Intel Core Ultra Series 3 Chips at CES 2026

Today, Samsung introduced its Galaxy Book6 series laptops during CES 2026, featuring Intel® Core™ Ultra Series 3 processors as the first client system-on-chips built on the Intel 18A process node.
The lineup consists of the Galaxy Book6 Ultra in a 16-inch model, the Galaxy Book6 Pro in 14-inch and 16-inch versions, and the Galaxy Book6 in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes.
These processors provide up to 16 performance cores and efficient cores, resulting in 60% faster CPU performance compared to the previous generation, and an integrated neural processing unit capable of 50 trillion operations per second for AI tasks such as image cleanup and instant translation, eliminating the need for cloud reliance.
- Galaxy Book6 Ultra includes an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 or 5060 laptop GPU, up to 64GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 2TB of SSD storage, along with a 16-inch touch AMOLED display reaching 1000 nits peak brightness in HDR mode.
- Galaxy Book6 Pro models come with Intel Core Ultra X7, 7, or 5 Series 3 processors, 16GB or 32GB of RAM, and up to 1TB storage, featuring AMOLED displays with anti-reflective coating.
- Standard Galaxy Book6 uses Intel Core Ultra 7 or 5 Series 3 processors, up to 32GB RAM, and up to 1TB storage, with IPS displays in non-touch and touch options for the 16-inch variant.
All models support Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 in select configurations, and incorporate six speakers with Dolby Atmos in the Ultra version.
Battery life reaches up to 30 hours of video playback on the Ultra and Pro models, with the Ultra achieving 63% charge in 30 minutes using a 140W adapter.

“At Samsung, we believe true innovation starts with getting the fundamentals right,” said Won-Joon Choi, President, Chief Operating Officer and Head of the R&D Office, Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics.
The devices will be available in gray and silver colors in select markets starting late January 2026, with a Galaxy Book6 Enterprise Edition planned for certain markets in April 2026.
Samsung has not yet announced the pricing for these gadgets.
