Samsung Launches Galaxy A07 5G in India with 120Hz Display and Massive Battery on a Budget

The phone includes a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 800 nits under high-brightness mode, protected by two-step tempered glass on the front and a glass fiber reinforced polymer back panel.
It measures 167.4 millimeters in length, 77.4 millimeters in width and 8.2 millimeters in thickness while weighing 199 grams, and it holds an IP54 certification for resistance to dust and water.
It runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa-core processor built on a 6-nanometer process, paired with either 4GB or 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of storage that expands up to 1 terabyte through a microSD card slot.
For photography, the Galaxy A07 5G carries a dual rear camera system consisting of a 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture and autofocus plus a 2MP depth sensor, alongside an 8MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
A 6,000mAh battery powers the phone and supports 25W wired charging, but no charger comes in the box.
Galaxy A07 ships with Android 16 and Samsung's One UI 8.0 software, and the company commits to six years of operating system upgrades along with six years of security patches.
It incorporates Samsung Knox Vault for hardware-based security of sensitive data and supports biometric options like fingerprint scanning and face recognition for transactions through Samsung Wallet.
Connectivity covers 5G on 12 bands in standalone and non-standalone modes, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, USB Type-C, a 3.5-millimeter audio jack and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor in a hybrid dual SIM configuration.

The Galaxy A07 5G arrives in Light Violet, Light Green and Black color options. The 4GB RAM version sells for 15,999 rupees, and the 6GB RAM version goes for 17,999 rupees.
Customers receive 1,000 rupees cashback when using SBI, HDFC or Axis Bank cards or UPI payments, reducing effective prices to 14,999 rupees and 16,999 rupees respectively, and no-cost EMI plans extend up to 18 months.
Sales began immediately across retail stores, Samsung's exclusive outlets, its online store and other e-commerce platforms in India.
