Honor launches Pad X10 tablet in China

Honor unveiled the Pad X10 tablet in China on March 25, and it targets students, professionals, and everyday entertainment users as a more affordable addition to the company's growing tablet lineup that already includes the Pad 10 series and the Pad X10 Pro introduced in January.
The Pad X10 carries an 11-inch LCD panel that delivers a 1920 by 1200 resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 500 nits.
The screen achieves an 84% screen-to-body ratio and incorporates eye-care features such as TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification, flicker-free operation, eBook mode and natural light mode. These elements aim to reduce strain during prolonged reading or study sessions.
Inside, the tablet relies on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 680 processor, an octa-core chipset with four Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.4GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores at 1.9GHz paired with an Adreno 610 GPU.
RAM options include 6GB or 8GB while storage starts at 128GB and supports expansion up to 2TB through a microSD card slot. Both the front and rear cameras use 5-megapixel sensors.
Software consists of Android 16 with Honor's MagicOS interface layered on top. Audio comes from a quad-speaker arrangement.
The chassis uses a durable metal unibody construction that measures 7.25 millimeters thick and weighs 499 grams.
Honor added SGS five-star certification for resistance to drops and pressure.
Battery capacity of Pad X10 tablet stands out at 10100mAh.
Honor rates the cell for up to 22 hours of video playback, 123 hours of music playback and a standby time of up to 97 days.
The included charger supports 15 watts although the tablet itself does not accept faster wired charging.
The Pad X10 includes student-oriented software tools under a dedicated Learning Space feature.
This provides distraction-free modes, parental controls and curated educational resources tailored for younger users.

Availability is currently limited to China.
The tablet comes in Sky Blue and Starry Gray finishes with three storage configurations.
- The base 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model sells for 1299 yuan, equivalent to roughly 194 dollars.
- The 8GB RAM and 128GB variant lists at 1599 yuan or about 239 dollars.
- The top 8GB RAM and 256GB option costs 1799 yuan or approximately 269 dollars.
This release follows the Pad X10 Pro that arrived in January with an 11.5-inch 120Hz panel, Snapdragon 685 chipset and 8300mAh battery.
The standard Pad X10 opts for a slower processor, lower refresh rate and simplified charging in exchange for the larger battery and lower price point.
The configuration positions the device as a practical choice for users who prioritize extended runtime over peak performance.
