The chapter, released this week in Weekly Shonen Jump, shows Imu arriving directly in Elbaph as the Straw Hats wrap up their clash with the Holy Knights.
A massive pentagram rips open the sky above the island, followed by black lightning, possessed trees and houses that sprout wicked smiles and begin singing, and a wave of Conqueror's Haki strong enough to fell nearby giants.
Imu ignores warnings from the Five Elders about the risks of leaving Pangea Castle and descends personally to deal with the rebels. The ruler appears in an awakened transformation, coughing blood while climbing to the spire of Aurust Castle.
There, the manga provides the official introduction box identifying the figure as Saint Nerona Imu, the King of the World and one of the original Twenty founders of the World Government. The chapter confirms Imu wields the Akuma no Mi, a Devil Fruit rendered in katakana as "the Devil's Fruit" rather than the standard kanji term used elsewhere in the series.
In this form Imu displays tanned skin reminiscent of the Lunarians, long white hair, two curly horns that curve into an S-shape, long sharp black nails, and circuit-like white tattoos across the body that form eye patterns on the backs of the hands and parts of the face.
A pointed devil tail extends behind, black Hagoromo clouds swirl with additional eyes, and the figure wears a black cloak bearing the Covenant symbol over a muscular torso, along with a furry belt, striped baggy pants, spiked bracelet, and pointy shoes.
Imu also carries a zigzagged naginata identified as one of the 12 Supreme Grade Blades.
The face itself presents masculine features with long eyelashes and delicate eyes, settling long-standing fan debates by confirming the character as male.

The transformation sequence builds on earlier hints of Imu's powers, including soul possession through Covenants and environmental corruption.
Trees and structures in Elbaph animate with demonic expressions as Imu reaches the castle roof, where the final panels deliver the close-up face reveal.
The design draws clear demonic parallels while echoing Lunarian traits, positioning the character as the literal devil of the One Piece world.
The arrival marks a sharp escalation in the Elbaph arc and the broader Final Saga. With the Holy Knights defeated and Loki allied with the Straw Hats, Imu's direct intervention signals that the World Government's supreme ruler no longer operates solely from the shadows.
The chapter ends on this image, leaving the immediate confrontation with Luffy and the giants unresolved. Weekly Shonen Jump has placed the series on break next week.
