OnePlus starts OxygenOS 16.1 rollout on OnePlus 15 in India, with Live Space and AI updates

OnePlus has begun pushing OxygenOS 16.0.7.201 to the OnePlus 15 in India in batches, and community posts on the company’s forum describe the build as a ColorOS 16.1 release candidate for the phone.
On its OxygenOS 16 page, OnePlus calls the software “Intelligently Yours” and says:
“Coming soon, Mind Space in the Gemini app will be available on OnePlus Flagship devices with OxygenOS 16.”
The company’s public OxygenOS 16 page says the update centers on Mind Space in Google Gemini, a customizable lock screen, smoother animations, cross-device connectivity with Mac, Windows PC and iPhone, and a Private Computing Cloud for added security.
OnePlus also lists a broad compatibility slate that includes the OnePlus 13 family, OnePlus 12 and 11 models, several Nord phones and the Pad line, but says rollout timing will vary by device, country and carrier.
Third-party changelog reports for the OnePlus 15 say the update adds a redesigned control center, Live Space surfaces for ongoing calls, recordings, timers, flashlight status and maps, plus AI processing changes for photos, documents and translation.
Those reports say the first wave is landing in India, with wider regional availability expected later.
The software push fits OnePlus’s broader OxygenOS 16 pitch, which leans hard on AI and cross-device features rather than a simple visual refresh.
The company’s marketing pages describe the platform as a way to “work smarter,” “play harder” and connect more tightly with other devices, while the official notes make clear the rollout is staggered, not global all at once.
For OnePlus 15 owners in India, the update appears to be the first look at the new feature set.
For everyone else, the remaining question is timing, since OnePlus has only said the build will land in batches and has not published a single global schedule for the 16.1-era package.
