Juniper Square Raises $130 Million to Launch JunieAI

Juniper Square has secured $130 million in Series D funding at a $1.1 billion valuation to accelerate its push into AI for private market investors. The round was led by Ribbit Capital and included strategic backing from Fifth Wall, with additional investment from Redpoint Ventures, HighSage Ventures, Blue Owl Capital, and others.

The funding will fuel the development of JunieAI, Juniper Square’s new AI platform designed specifically for general partners in private markets. Unlike generic AI tools, JunieAI is built with sector-specific infrastructure, giving GPs fine-grained control over how agents operate across workflows like investor relations, fund administration, and reporting.

It also integrates directly with Juniper Square’s existing fund system of record and enterprise-grade data model.

“The private markets are undergoing a once-in-a-generation transformation driven by two tsunamis of change: the rise of the retail investor and the breakthrough potential of AI,” said Alex Robinson, CEO and Co-Founder at Juniper Square, highlighting the significance of the announcement.

Over the past three years, Juniper Square has seen its fund administration business more than double, now managing over 2,000 fund entities globally. Its largest clients are increasingly concentrated in private equity and venture capital. In May, the company expanded into Luxembourg to streamline cross-border operations for fund managers in Europe.

Ribbit Capital's General Partner Nick Shalek called Juniper Square “uniquely positioned to lead the private markets into the AI era,” pointing to its combination of structured data, domain expertise, and scalable infrastructure as key advantages.

The private markets sector is expected to top $60 trillion in the next decade, driven in part by growing interest from retail investors. Juniper Square is betting JunieAI will give GPs the speed and tools they need to stay ahead in a fast-changing environment.

A virtual keynote hosted by Juniper Square’s CEO and Chief Solutions Officer is scheduled for June 23 to unveil more about JunieAI’s capabilities and the company’s broader AI vision for the industry.
