BTS revealed the title of their fifth full-length album as “Arirang” with a release date of March 20 at 1 p.m. KST.

The South Korean group, consisting of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook, made the announcement through their agency Big Hit Music on January 15.

Pre-orders for the album began on January 16 at 11 a.m. KST across online and offline retailers, including the official BTS store and Weverse.

The album marks the band’s first group project in three years and nine months since their 2022 anthology album “Proof.”

Big Hit Music described the release in a statement:

“We are excited to inform you on how to pre-order BTS The 5th album, “ARIRANG,” scheduled for release on Friday, March 20.”

The physical album comes in 16 versions, including a “Rooted in Music” edition, a “Rooted in Korea” edition, a “Living Legend” edition and various deluxe vinyl color variants.

Shipments to all countries and regions start on the release date in the order of purchase.

The title “Arirang” draws from the traditional Korean folk song of the same name.

Big Hit Music earlier confirmed the comeback date on social media with the message:

“March 20 comeback confirmed.”

The album contains 14 tracks.
