Motorola to Launch FIFA World Cup 2026 Edition Razr (Flip Phone) on January 6

Motorola plans to launch a special edition Razr flip phone tied to the FIFA World Cup 2026 on January 6 in a move that adds the soccer tournament's branding to its foldable lineup.

This all-new smartphone by Motorola features the FIFA World Cup 2026 logo on its back panel and appears to be based on the existing Razr 2025 model with cosmetic updates rather than new internal components.

Motorola shared a teaser video on X showing the clamshell-style phone in shadow with the logo visible.

The FIFA edition Razr will debut alongside the Motorola Signature, a flagship device formerly known as the Edge 70 Ultra.

Specifications match those of the standard Razr 60, including a 6.9-inch pOLED folding display, Dimensity 7400X processor and 4,500mAh battery.

Motorola posted on X: "Inspired by the field and fueled by passion. Stay tuned to see our icon get a game day makeover."

The video hints at themed software elements on the external display, such as exclusive wallpapers featuring the World Cup logo.

No details on pricing or availability have emerged ahead of the event.

The launch aligns with Motorola's push into collectible editions for its Razr series.
