Red Magic 11 Air Gaming Phone Launches Globally Starting at $529 With Snapdragon 8 Elite Power
Nubia launches the Red Magic 11 Air gaming smartphone in global markets on January 29, 2026, after its initial debut in China on January 20. The device is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor built on 3nm technology and an Adreno 830 GPU.

It pairs the chipset with a proprietary RedCore R4 gaming chip for optimized performance in games. The phone offers configurations of 12GB or 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB or 512GB UFS 4.1 storage, with no option for expandable memory.
The Red Magic 11 Air features a 6.85-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution of 1216 x 2688 pixels, a 144Hz refresh rate, 2592Hz PWM dimming, and peak brightness of 1800 nits, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. The screen supports 1B colors and a touch sampling rate of up to 960Hz.
For thermal management during extended gaming sessions, the phone incorporates an ICE Cooling System that includes a 24,000 RPM centrifugal fan, a 4D Ice-Steps vapor chamber with 40% increased vapor space, graphene copper foil, and the Wind Chaser 4.0 setup. The system also has dual active cooling fans.
The battery capacity stands at 7,000mAh, supported by 120W wired fast charging in China and 80W in global markets, along with bypass charging to reduce heat during use.
The camera setup consists of a dual rear system with a 50-megapixel main sensor featuring optical image stabilization and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, capable of 8K video recording at 30fps.
The front camera is a 16-megapixel under-display unit for selfies and video calls at 1080p.
Gaming-specific features include 520Hz shoulder triggers, Magic Touch 3.0 with up to 2,500Hz instantaneous touch response, Cube Sky Engine 3.0, intelligent load prediction, and a built-in PC emulator.
Red Magic 11 Air has stereo speakers with dual smart PA, an X-axis linear motor for haptics, and IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.
It supports 5G SA/NSA, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, infrared port, and USB Type-C 2.0. Sensors include an under-display optical fingerprint reader, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.
The Red Magic 11 Air runs Android 16 with RedMagic OS 11 and comes in Quantum Black and Stardust White colors, with a transparent back option in some variants.
Dimensions measure 163.8 x 76.5 x 8mm, and the weight is 207 grams.
Pricing for the 12GB + 256GB model starts at $529 in the United States, CAD$729 in Canada, £439 in the United Kingdom, €499 in the European Union, S$729 in Singapore, Mex$10,999 in Mexico, and 1,899 AED in GCC countries. The 16GB + 512GB version is priced at $629 in the United States, CAD$869 in Canada, £529 in the United Kingdom, €599 in the European Union, S$869 in Singapore, Mex$12,999 in Mexico, and 2,299 AED in GCC countries.
Open sales begin on February 11, 2026, at 8:00 PM HKT, with early bird voucher purchases starting on February 5 and early access on February 10.
It is available in regions including Europe, the United Kingdom, Asia Pacific, GCC countries, Latin America, and others such as Turkey, Egypt, and Israel.
In China, the starting price is 3,699 yuan for the base model of Red Magic 11 Air.
The model supports dual nano-SIM cards and has an illuminated RGB logo on the back.
