A developer has found strings in the code of ChatGPT's web application pointing to a new subscription plan named ChatGPT Pro Lite at $100 per month.

The uncovered code includes a specific reference on a checkout page that reads:

"The new ChatGPT Pro Lite plan costs $100 per month."

This potential tier positions itself between the current $20 per month ChatGPT Plus plan and the $200 per month ChatGPT Pro plan.

ChatGPT Plus plan provides access to advanced reasoning models like GPT-5.2, increased limits on messages and file uploads, faster image generation, deep research capabilities, memory and context retention, project management tools, custom GPT creation, Codex agent for coding assistance, and Sora for video generation, along with priority access to new releases.

While the Pro plan builds on those features with unlimited usage of GPT-5.2 Pro for complex reasoning tasks, no restrictions on file uploads subject to safety measures, unlimited and accelerated image creation, maximum allowances for deep research and agent modes, expanded memory and context handling, larger-scale project and task management, extended Sora video generation, priority Codex agent performance, and research previews of upcoming models.
