POCO C85x 5G Launches in India with 6300mAh Battery and 120Hz Display
POCO introduced the C85x 5G smartphone in India on March 10, 2026. The device targets budget-conscious consumers seeking extended battery life and smooth performance.
The launch occurred through the company's social media channels and e-commerce partners.
POCO C85x 5G Key Features
The smartphone includes a 6.9-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The screen supports a 120Hz refresh rate and reaches up to 810 nits peak brightness under high brightness mode. It carries triple TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light, flicker-free viewing, and circadian rhythm support.
Under the hood, an octa-core Unisoc T8300 processor built on a 6nm process powers the device. The chipset consists of two Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores also at 2.2GHz, paired with an Arm Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.
The phone comes with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and options for 64GB or 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Users can expand storage up to 1TB via a microSD card slot.
Camera Setup on POCO C85x 5G
A dual rear camera system features a 32-megapixel primary sensor with support for up to 10x digital zoom. An additional secondary sensor accompanies the main camera. On the front, an 8-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture handles selfies and video calls.
Battery and Charging Capabilities
The C85x 5G houses a 6300mAh battery. It supports 15W fast charging via the included charger and offers 7.5W reverse wired charging.
POCO states the battery maintains up to 80% health after 1000 charging cycles, equivalent to over three years of typical use.

Software and Connectivity
The device runs Android 16 out of the box with Xiaomi's HyperOS skin. It supports dual SIM cards with nano slots plus a dedicated microSD slot. Connectivity options encompass 5G SA/NSA across bands n1, n3, n5, n8, n28, n40, and n78.
Additional features include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac on 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS with GLONASS, a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and FM radio.
Design and Build
The C85x 5G measures 171.56mm in height, 79.47mm in width, and 8.15mm in thickness. It weighs 210 grams. The phone holds an IP52 rating for dust and water resistance. Security comes via a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Available colors include black, gold, and green.
