OPPO Unveils Find X9 Ultra Hasselblad Earth Explorer Master Set
OPPO has officially teased the Find X9 Ultra Hasselblad Earth Explorer Master Set, a limited-edition photography bundle for its upcoming flagship smartphone, just eight days before the device's global debut on April 21.
The announcement, shared through the company's official X accounts and detailed in coverage from Gizmochina and Fonearena, positions the accessory kit as a direct tribute to Hasselblad's X2D 100C Earth Explorer Limited Edition camera. It includes a collector's commemorative certificate bearing a unique serial number alongside a dedicated professional imaging kit.
The Earth Explorer Master Set bundles the Find X9 Ultra with a custom protective case, a dedicated camera grip, and an external Hasselblad Professional Teleconverter Ultra lens rated at 300mm.
When assembled, the setup attaches to the phone's 3x periscope camera and transforms the device into a configuration that closely resembles a compact digital camera, complete with a lens cap and support bracket.
This edition is reserved exclusively for the top-tier 16GB RAM and 1TB storage variant, which also supports satellite connectivity in select configurations, and will ship in the Earth Tundra colorway.
The standard Find X9 Ultra will be available in three finishes overall: Earth Tundra, Polar Glacier, and Velvet Sand Canyon. All variants feature a large circular rear camera module with Hasselblad branding and an octagonal inner design.
Camera hardware centers on a Hasselblad Master Camera System built around dual 200MP sensors. The main camera uses an ultra-large sensor with 110% more light intake than the previous generation's 1-inch unit.
A 200MP 3x telephoto lens, described as the new-generation Night God sensor, delivers 136% greater light intake. Additional modules include a 50MP ultra-wide lens with 156% improved light capture and a 50MP 10x optical zoom periscope telephoto offering a 230mm equivalent focal length.
A second-generation Danxia lens provides 43% better color sensitivity, while the front-facing camera steps up to 50MP. The system supports 8K ultra-high-definition cinematic video recording, Hasselblad Master Mode, and the LUMO light-condensing imaging system.
Sample images released by OPPO highlight the 300mm teleconverter's reach alongside native 10x zoom performance.
Hardware specifications align with flagship expectations for 2026. The device is expected to run on a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. A 7,050mAh battery supports 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
The display measures approximately 6.78 inches with a 144Hz refresh rate, 3168 x 1440 resolution, and new 1-nit eye protection technology.
Other features include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, IP66, IP68, and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings, dual stereo speakers, and an IR blaster. The phone ships with ColorOS 16.
Zhou Yibao, head of OPPO Find series products, stated that the Find X9 Ultra alongside the Find X9s Pro will feature a robust set of standard hardware specifications aimed at premium performance and durability.
The full device lineup, including the China-exclusive Find X9s Pro, will debut simultaneously in China and select global markets on April 21 at 7:00 p.m. local time in China.
Availability in additional regions such as India is expected shortly afterward. Pricing and final retail configurations remain undisclosed until the launch event.
