Crimson Desert Receives Patch 1.10.00 With New Mounts, Minigames and Re-Blockade Improvements
Pearl Abyss has deployed version 1.10.00 for its open-world action-adventure game Crimson Desert, introducing enhancements to existing systems alongside fresh content for players. A subsequent hotfix, version 1.10.01, addressed stability issues that arose after the main update.

The patch, released on June 5, 2026, adds improvements to the Re-Blockade feature, new minigames, and special mounts derived from pet growth mechanics.
According to the official patch notes:
"This patch adds improvements to Re-Blockade and a feature that allows Baby Wyverns and the new pet Kuku Bird Chick to be used as special mounts. New minigames - Pinball and Orb Roll - have also been added, along with various bug fixes and stability improvements."
Key additions in 1.10.00 include refined Re-Blockade mechanics with new "Battle" and "Reconstruct" stages for better flow.
Players can now request "Protection" for major strongholds to suppress Re-Blockades, and liberating them yields contribution points, provisions, trade goods, and other rewards.
Two new minigames expand recreational options.
Pinball is available at the inn near the Delesyian Institute, with tokens exchangeable for items such as Material Boxes of Fortune, Abyss Artifacts, chests, furniture, and gear crafting recipes.
Orb Roll appears at the Great Gate of Urdavah, offering similar rewards including golden apples, carpets, and lights.
Pet and mount systems received notable expansions. A new pet, the Kuku Bird Chick, joins the Baby Wyvern. Both can grow when fed and eventually register as special mounts.
New equipment includes the Wyvern Saddle for mounts and items like the Small Kuku Bird Eggshell and Small Wyvern Aviator Hat for pets. Additional content tweaks allow Abyss gear removal from locked items, expanded house decoration categories with carpets, and quality-of-life changes such as improved pet feeding animations.
Combat and controls saw targeted adjustments. Blackstar gained a ground attack skill, Damiane's unarmed skills had damage tuning, and controller customization options expanded. UI improvements include better mission dispatch categorization and growth level indicators for pets and horses in the inventory.
The June 6 hotfix 1.10.01 resolved several crashes, including those during Abyss Nexus teleportation, combat, and egg hatching near the Wyvern's Cradle.
It also fixed movement blocks from small animals, animal spawning problems, and other minor issues like filter resets and localized text errors.
Crimson Desert launched in March 2026 and has seen frequent updates since then, with prior patches adding rematch bosses, new pets, skills for characters like Damiane and Oongka, controller remapping, and storage expansions.
A developer update preview released in early June outlined further plans through September 2026, including story enhancements, additional Re-Blockade changes, new combat content, cross-save support, and quality-of-life features for non-combat activities. A major DLC is also in development.
The rapid post-launch support reflects ongoing efforts to refine gameplay based on player feedback in the expansive world of Pywel.
The patch is available now across PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Epic Games Store platforms, with Mac App Store rollout pending.
