Infinix Smart 20 Launches in India (Price and Specs)

Infinix has introduced the Smart 20 smartphone in the Indian market, positioning it as an affordable option focused on everyday usability, a smooth display and basic durability features. The device became available for purchase starting June 8, 2026, targeting budget-conscious buyers seeking a thin profile and extended battery life.
The Smart 20 measures 7.7 millimeters in thickness and weighs 189 grams. It features a 3D-textured composite rear panel and carries an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. The company claims the phone can withstand drops from up to 1.5 meters based on internal testing.
Available color options include Cloudline Blue, Polaris Titanium, Shadow Black and Sunlike Orange.

At the front, the phone sports a 6.78-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 720 by 1576 pixels. The display supports a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 700 nits peak brightness and includes features such as Always-On Display functionality, wet and oily touch support, and a Dynamic Bar. A punch-hole cutout houses the 8-megapixel front camera.
Powering the device is the MediaTek Helio G81 Ultimate chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM that can be extended virtually up to 8GB and storage options of 64GB or 128GB, expandable via microSD card up to 2TB. The phone runs Android 16 with Infinix's XOS 16 skin on top. For photography, it relies on a single 8-megapixel rear camera. Battery capacity stands at 5,200mAh, supported by 15W wired charging and 5W reverse wired charging.
Additional features include UltraLink support for offline calling and messaging over distances of up to 1 kilometer in ideal conditions, enhanced NFC capabilities for touch transfer and cross-system sharing in certain variants, voiceprint noise reduction, and AI tools integrated via the Folax assistant. Connectivity options cover 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2.
Pricing and Availability
In India, the Infinix Smart 20 is priced at 12,499 rupees for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, while the 4GB RAM and 128GB version costs 13,999 rupees. Sales are expected through major online platforms later in June, with introductory bank discounts available. The device has been rolling out in other markets including the Philippines, Bangladesh and select global regions since March 2026.

The launch reflects Infinix's continued push into the entry-level segment, emphasizing practical attributes such as the high refresh rate screen and slim build over higher-end camera or processing power. The Helio G81 Ultimate provides sufficient performance for daily tasks, social media and light gaming, according to early specifications. Details on long-term software update commitments remain limited at this stage.
