The software assigns each virtual bot its own cloud computer, enabling the tool to sign into third-party programs and complete multi-step workflows without continuous human supervision.
The company published its official announcement statement on Tuesday:
"Bots are AI teammates that do real work for you. They sign in to your tools, use them just like you do, and come back with finished work."
The product expands SpaceXAI's software lineup into the autonomous agent market, moving beyond conversational chat interfaces toward software that controls business applications directly.
The Grok interface operates across desktop and mobile operating systems.
How Grok Bot Operates Behind the Scenes
Each bot runs inside a dedicated cloud environment equipped with standard computer access. Users send instructions via chat messages, and the agent logs into designated email accounts, databases, or online dashboards.
The cloud virtual machine provides isolated processing for each task. The bot enters passwords, navigates web interfaces, and fills out forms in the same manner as a human employee.
When an action requires explicit human confirmation, such as submitting a financial payment or sending an external contract, the bot pauses and asks the account holder for permission. Users can assign individual tasks or establish repeating schedules.
SpaceXAI integrated a recording tool that lets bots learn steps directly from human behavior. Users perform a routine on screen once, and the software saves the action sequence into a reusable automation template.
Multi-Bot Coordination and Internal Operations
The system supports running multiple agents concurrently on separate background tasks. One manager bot can direct sub-bots, distribute workloads, and summarize status reports across active projects.
Agents can exchange messages directly with each other in shared threads. Teams can also add bots into human group chats on messaging apps to handle direct requests.
Before opening access to external subscribers, SpaceXAI deployed Grok Bot within its own business departments. Employees used the system to conduct sales prospecting, run marketing campaigns, update customer relationship management databases, process emailed invoices from Gmail accounts, and reproduce software bugs reported by testers.
Deployment Details and Availability
SpaceXAI launched the early beta on Mac, iOS, Windows, and Linux operating systems. The software links directly with user accounts on desktop and mobile devices.
