Leaked Video Renders Unveil iPhone 18 Pro's Shift to Under-Screen Face ID and Corner Camera

A set of renders released in a video by leaker Jon Prosser depicts the iPhone 18 Pro with under-display Face ID sensors and a front-facing camera relocated to the top-left corner of the screen, eliminating the pill-shaped cutout present on prior models, and he also hinted at the iPhone Fold with no extra details about that.

The latest design change in iPhone 18 Pro reduces the front cutout to a single hole for the camera while retaining the Dynamic Island through iOS.

Analyst Jeff Pu's January 15, 2026, note listed specifications for the iPhone 18 Pro models, including a smaller Dynamic Island alongside Face ID, an 18-megapixel front camera and aluminum casing.

Pu's data aligns with prior supply chain indications of an A20 Pro chip and C2 modem in the devices set for September 2026 release.

Jon Prosser presented the renders on January 17, 2026, visualizing supply chain reports that also indicate new color options, including burgundy, brown and purple.

As we reported, a Chinese leaker Digital Chat Station corroborated the under-screen Face ID feature in a Weibo post on January 14, 2026, stating the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max entered sample production with 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch displays, respectively, and punch-hole selfie cameras.

The leaker specified the base iPhone 18 and iPhone Air 2 models retain the Dynamic Island on 6.27-inch and 6.55-inch screens.

A report from The Information, referenced in multiple leaks, detailed that "the front camera would be moved to the top-left corner of the screen on the devices" and "the devices would no longer have a pill-shaped cutout in the screen."

While Jon Prosser's video also highlighted a variable aperture for the main rear camera, with potential exclusivity to the iPhone 18 Pro Max.
