itel A100: Military-Grade Smartphone Launched in India at Rs 6,799 With Ultralink
itel launched the A100 smartphone in India on February 9. The budget device emphasizes durability and includes a feature for calls in low-network areas.
The 3GB RAM and 64GB storage model carries a price of Rs 6,799. The 4GB RAM version costs Rs 7,499. Both variants come in Silk Green, Pure Black and Titanium Gold colors.
The phones are on sale at retail stores across the country and include a free screen replacement for the first 100 days.
The A100 has a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS display with 90Hz refresh rate and waterdrop notch.
It runs Android 15 Go edition on the Unisoc T7100 octa-core processor with up to 4GB RAM plus virtual expansion and 64GB internal storage expandable via microSD.
An 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera equip the phone.
A 5000mAh battery supports 10W charging.
itel A100 holds MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification for resistance to drops and shocks. It ships with a free anti-drop protective cover.
The A100 also carries IPX4 splash resistance.
The Ultralink feature lets users place free calls to other itel phones in areas with weak or no network coverage through alternative connectivity methods.
